lord of the rings is one of the litary master pieces of are age. tolkien is rarley if ever spoken as a one of the great writers of the 1900's which i think he greatly deserves. his works have such a deep comantary on human values, love friendship, loyality,hope,despair,redemtion the list could go on for ages. his books honestly shaped me into the person i am today.

this line brought a tear to my eye even though it was written over 70 years ago and in a high fantasy setting i think its so relavant in todays society that together as people we can overcome any thing and stand united.
